Our Workshops

An advocate says....
"In his role as facilitator, David has the ability to generate enthusiasm, promote ideas, and encourage people to perform.  He gives direction without being overbearing, and infuses new ideas without being dominating.  David's technical knowledge and business acumen is extensive and diverse.  I have found him dynamic and exciting to work with."
TOM GREEN, EDGE Management

Together with Mindshop, we have developed the 'Sprint Series'.  The series consists of 13 fast, challenging, interactive, informative and fun workshops aimed to fast track your skills and strategies in every part of your business to get you out of the starting blocks quick and easy!

You will be encouraged to look at your business strategically, and you will learn planning and decision-making skills that you can apply again and again.

At the completion of each 4 hour workshop you will have developed a One Page Plan for yourself or your own business for the topic that the workshop covers, whether it be recruitment, negotiation skills or time management.

Set out below is a timetable of the future workshops to be held from 9.00am to 1.00pm at our Dubbo office.

We encourage businesses to send teams so that new learning is distributed throughout your organisation.  At $198 per person, the workshops are true value for money (you would pay in excess of $1,000 in Sydney for a similar course).  For groups of four or more from the same company, you pay only $178 per person per workshop.   If you wish to complete the whole 'Sprint Series' you will save almost $400.

Recruitment Process

What are your current recruitment skills like?  What style of interviewer are you?  What results do you currently get from your recruitment system?  Do you hire in your own image?  Do you match the applicants with your specific needs?  Can you tell the difference between a top performer and the eloquent incompetent?

No matter the size of the organisation or the industry in which it operates, recruitment is always a very important function.  The recruitment process can be used to handle entry positions as well as internal promotions.

The right applicant will add value to your team.  The wrong applicant can, at best, reduce productivity and team morale and at worst destroy carefully laid out strategic plans and visions.

Building an Effective Team

We have all worked in teams and committed to a common purpose, whether it may be a senior management team, basketball team or a family unit.

For teams to work effectively its members need to trust one another.  They need to be sure that everyone will fulfil his or her obligations and behave in a consistent manner.  Whilst our focus is on work-based teams, the tools and processes that you will be trained in apply to any organisation.

Teamwork is important.  In teams you will work with people with similar skills and with people who will have completely different skills.  You may have been a member of a team already, but professional teamwork involves more than just being a team.  ...click here to register

Negotiation Process

Negotiating is a part of life.  You do it every day to get along with your co-workers, get your family to do things that you want them to do and in general just keep everyone including yourself, happy.  A successful negotiation is a process that yields an agreement each party will willingly fulfil.  Treating negotiation as a competition with winners and losers guarantees that the losers will not be committed to fulfiling the agreement.

Negotiation is a process civilised people use to reach agreement, not warfare.  The goal of negotiation is not to win, it is to succeed.  The mechanism of successful negotiation is collaboration, the work of a partnership rather than a means for kicking butt!   ...click here to register
