'We were contemplating purchasing a business, without any previous retail experience.  We needed to learn something about sales and marketing in a hurry.  David suggested the on-line Mindshop Sales & Marketing Course, which sounded an ideal solution.

David organised the registration, after which I received an e-mail giving instructions as to how to log in.  The website had clear and simple instructions, with choices for different segments to study.  Each segment consisted of an interesting and informative tutorial, followed by a practical exercise, which we related to the business we were researching.

David knew a lot about this business, through our previous research and negotiations, and was very prompt in his replies and comments to my exercises.  He was very good at bolstering our ego's, and diplomatic, when I had to re-do an exercise!

By the end of the sessions, which took about 8 weeks, we felt we had learnt an enormous amount about the business we were researching, and, although we did not in fact proceed with the purchase of that business, the skills we had acquired have altered our outlook fundamentally.  We now feel we could research a business of any type, applying the tools we have learnt through the Sales & Marketing course.'
