"The Leading Orana Leadership Project - Forum 1 was aimed to enable greater involvement and representation of young people working in business, their communities and the region by improving their skills, knowledge, enthusiasm and desire to develop their futures in regional Australia. The Orana Regional Development Boards "Leading Orana" project is funded by the Australian Government's Department of Family & Community Services and the NSW Department of State and Regional Development.

David's ability to engage, empower and challenge a group of dynamic young leaders from across the Orana Region was excellent to observe. The feedback I have received from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive. All participants returning to their respective communities with new skills and great enthusiasm to undertake personal, business or community projects and all participants enthusiastically looking forward to Forum 2. Participants are currently being supported by Success from Within with online coaching and mentoring to develop their current project.

I have found David and his team to be always professional, exciting and inspiring to work with. The content of the program was specifically tailored to the aims and objectives of the project. David's research and planning resulted in a unique leadership program where participants developed an understanding about what leadership is and the attributes of an effective leader. The program encouraged participants to explore themselves, gaining an understanding of their personality, communication styles, conflict resolution, personal leadership traits and how they influenced others. The art of motivating and negotiating with individuals and teams was explored with skills developing through the program.

David will facilitate Forum 2 late April for the current Orana Leaders 2005. People from across the region are placing their names on the list to participate in Leading Orana 2006 already. Congratulations David, Prue and Michael for an outstanding job. Your contribution to this project has been over and above our expectations."
